How to get the basketball Camp in Alicante

International Basketball Camp Spain: Alicante, Valencia region, Spain

In the South part of the Valencia Region, Alicante is located 185 Km from Valencia, 60 Km from Elche, 515 Km from Barcelona and 422 Km from Madrid.

Alicante has excellent connections with other cities in Spain and Europe.

Alicante airport (El Altet) is located 11 km from Alicante and it is about 30 min from the airport to the city centre. Transfer service from Alicante airport, bus/coach or train station is NOT included in the package price. Upon request, a pick-up service is available from the airport, train or bus/coach station.

• Sports Halls in Alicante city centre
  (Day campers on first day must go to Sports Hall Calasancio for training sessions to form the training groups for the week). The rest of the daysy at 9:20 at the assigned Basketball Sports Hall depending on his/her training group.(Confirmation pending)
• the centre of Alicante for beach trips, visiting the city centre, Santa Bárbara Castle, etc.

Arrival & Departure Points for Residential Campers

Information for players coming with their family

All overnight participants should arrive on Sunday evening and leave the accommodation on Sunday morning
Arrival Day: Sunday before the camp start date.
Arrival Time: From 17:00 to 20:00.
For early arrivals, participants can go to the Hotel from 12:00 to leave their luggage and return for dinner at 20:30.
Arrival Place: Hotel Residence Villa Universitaria.

Departure Day: Sunday morning from 9:00 to 12:00.
We must be informed of pick-up times.
In case of late departure, lunch this day is not included in the camp price. Participants can have lunch at the Hotel Restaurant.
Complete please the form for players without transfer service to inform us about arrival and departure time.

Participants with transfer service

Arrival Day: If you sign up for the transfer service from airport, coach/bus or train station, a person with a ZADORSPAIN sign and your name will be waiting for you.
Please wait by the exit of the airport, train station or coach/bus station and do not leave the area so participants can easily be located.
Phone numbers will be provided to contact us in case of flight delays, etc.

Departure  Day: Sunday morning from 9:00 to 12:00. Campers must leave the hotel 3 hours before their flight, 2 hours before their train or 1 hour before their bus/coach departure. Please, take these times into account when booking the tickets. A person working on behalf of Zador will accompany your child during check-in.

Check-in & check-out for day campers

Arrival Day: Monday morning
Arrival Time & Place Monday to Saturday:
First Monday at 9.20 at the Calasancio Basketball Sports Hall (Confirmation pending). We split players in training groups. On Monday they will be informed about the Sports Hall they will play the rest of the week.
Note: Day campers have to be on time every morning, with work-out clothes and a backpack with clothes to change into after the training sessions for lunch at the hotel and to go to the language lessons (if contrated) and for the afternoon training session.

Pick-up of day participants from Monday to Saturday

With training sessions morning and afternoon: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 20:00 in front the Sports Hall and Wednesday and Saturday at 13:00

With training session only in the morning: Monday to Saturday at 13:00 in front of the Sports Hall
