Youth Basketball Camp in Europe, Spain— General description

1 or 2 week Basketball Summer Camp with additional Spanish language lessons for teenagers in July —4 to 18, 4 to 11 or 11 to 18 for 2-week basketball Camp— in Vitoria, North of Spain. Coed Basketball camp for girls and boys in Europe. Optional weekend to visit Barcelona before starting the Summer Camp (2 to 4 July).

Basketball Camp for junior and youth players aged 13 to 17, combine Intensive Basketball Instruction for medium and advanced basketball players with Spanish language course, activities, excursions and trips.

Summer Immersion programs are the opportunity for youth students to learn Spanish in Spain and practice the Spanish language, as well as to discover a new culture and its customs, and make friends with other young people from around the world.

Besides, studying Spanish abroad teenagers can improve their Spanish language skills to prepare future Spanish exams.

This Summer basketball Camp for teens in Spain include 2 Spanish language lessons per day, basketball training camp, accommodation with full board (with 3 meals plus 3 additional meals (fruit juice, snack, fruit...), activities, excursions and trips, transfer and insurance.

Junior Programs have a moderate level of supervision and players will be expected to act mature and responsibly as, although they are accompanied almost always, they will NOT be constantly supervised (shopping in a Mall, time for bowling…).

Summer Basketball Camp 2010 Highlights
• Coed Basketball Summer Camp with Intensive Basketball Instruction for boys and girls (approx. 6 hours per day)
• Summer Camp organized by Caja Laboral Baskonia Basketball Club, and ZadorSpain language Schools
• For players from 13 to 17 years old
• Complete Camp to develop all the abilities of the young basketball players, emphasizing individual skills.
• 2 Spanish lessons per day
• Apartment accommodation (3-5 people per apartment) with 1 chaperone every 20 players sleeping in the Apartments
• Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus 2 morning and afternoon snacks (7 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 7 dinners). Arrival packed lunch in case of early arrivals
• Swimming Pool, games area and TV area to relax
• Cultural visits, activities and Saturday disco Party at the Camp
• 1 full day excursion (San Sebastian and beach or San Sebastian and visits depending on the weather) for 2-week Camp

Optional Weekend in Barcelona

As a complementary activity, we offer the young basketball players from abroad the possibility to visit Barcelona for a weekend before starting the Basketball Summer Camp:
