Residential Basketball Camp from 16th to 28th July

Spanish + Basketball camp overseas with training sessions in Spanish and English (3 hours a day Monday to Friday), 3 Spanish classes a day from Monday to Friday, activities in Alicante, sightseeing and excursions and beach at the weekend.

Basketball Camp participants will benefit from the highest teaching standards during their stay, practicing Spanish language with native-speakers and attending basketball training sessions run by Spanish and American coaches.

This is a Spanish Basketball camp in which participants receive personalized attention- as there are only 60 places available on the camp, we can give you our full attention.

• Residential Basketball Camp with accommodation in a 3*** residence/dormitory with swimming pool, tennis court, basketball court, outdoor play areas, computer room, TV rooms and double bedrooms in small apartments for 4 people that have a small fridge and microwave.
• Lunch and dinner are buffets with a choice of menu options: There are 6 starter, main course and dessert options for lunch and 3 for dinner. Participants will also receive a snack (sandwich, drink and fruit) in the afternoon to boost energy and another snack before bed (milk or hot chocolate and biscuits, or similar).
• 3 hours of Spanish classes per day, taught by qualified Spanish teachers.
• 4 hours of basketball per day, basketball talks, individual technical skills circuit, shooting, sessions in teams from 3x3 to 5x5. Training and talks will be conducted in English and Spanish language by Spanish and American coaches.

Basketball Camp from 1st to 15th July

Summer Basketball Camp Program for juniors, taught by real basketball coaches, is intended for intermediate and advance basketball players —both girls and boys— from 12 to 17 years old, for teenagers who want to take their basketball abilities and personal skills to a higher level.

• 1 week Summer Basketball Camp or 2 week Summer Basketball Camp.
• Caja Laboral Baskonia Basketball Camp for boys and girls from 12 to 17 years old
• Intensive basketball training (5 ½ -6 h (average) per day plus 3 hours per week of Night Basketball Games).
• Instructional and development basketball camp: Work on basketball techniques, training on tactic situations and competitions -1vs1, 3vs3, free throws, triples and 5vs5.
• 1 English lessons or 1 computer lessons or Basketball lectures for Spanish-speaking players and Basketball lectures or Spanish lessons for non-Spanish speaking players.
• Apartment accommodation near the main Basketball courts Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus 3 morning and afternoon snacks
• Swimming Pool, games area and TV area to relax.
• Local transports . Laundry equipment/facilities in the apartment
• Bilbao airport, Vitoria bus or train station pick-up and drop-off on request
• Medical, accident and travel Insurance included in the price for international players. Care and supervision and off-court activities

Spanish language immersion & Summer Basketball Camp is the result of a partnership between:

• Caja Laboral Baskonia Basketball Club and Sports Foundation (Vitoria, Spain) -former TAU Ceramica -, and
• Zadorspain language schools, being ZadorSpain in charge of registration —both for Spain and other countries.

 

Eligible Youth Basketball players

Summer Basketball Camp Program for youths, taught by real basketball coaches, is intended for intermediate and advance basketball players —both girls and boys— from 12 to 17 years old in Vitoria and 14-17 years old in Alicante, for teenagers who want to take their basketball abilities and personal skills to a higher level.

Summer Basketball Camps are designed as an individual basketball camp, open to individuals and group of players, friends, playing in the same team or in different basketball teams.
